Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on quality issues.
- Identify areas suitable for automation and provide input into the selection of test cases for automation
- Test Planning and Strategy: Contribute to creating and maintaining the overall test strategy and test plans using tools such as Selenium, or similar.
- Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects, ensuring the software meets quality standards
- Defect Reporting and Documentation: Document and track defects, providing detailed information for developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Conduct performance and stress testing to ensure the stability and responsiveness of applications.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test scripts, test data, and test results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Pytest, or similar.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA and Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
